Communities across the continent are calling on their local councils to pass Polluter Pays motions demanding that coal and gas corporations pay their fair share for the cost of climate change.

Big coal and gas corporations are making billions while our communities pay the price for their climate pollution with soaring insurance premiums, damaged infrastructure, and disaster clean-up costs.

If you make a mess, you should clean it up. Local councils and residents shouldn’t be left holding the bill while corporations pocket the profits.

You can make a difference today by signing or starting a petition calling on your local council to support a Climate Compensation Fund, paid for by big polluters, so our communities have the resources they need to stay safe and thrive.
