There's no global agreement focussed on phasing out fossil fuels - oil, gas or coal.  A fossil fuel treaty would unite willing countries and build momentum for real climate action. International support is growing, with the first ever global summit for a phase-out  of fossil fuels happening in Colombia on 28 - 29 April, 2026.

We need to tackle the climate crisis and make affordable, sustainable energy available to everyone.
